Michael Rodriguez, President and Founder of M&R Drywall & Metal Stud, Inc. which was established in 1985 and Incorporated in 1991. Starting out as an apprentice in the drywall industry and working my way up to a journeyman. I was fortunate enough to learn from some of the top owners and mechanics in the industry in 1985 when I started M&R Drywall & Metal Stud, Inc. I handle all responsibilities; I was the estimator, foreman, and project manager. Through the years I have been able to surround myself with some of the top project managers, estimators and foreman. My philosophy has always been Client Comes First! We instill a safe working environment, timely job schedules and quality. All of our foreman and project managers have been taught various management skills. We have an outside consultant group that comes in once a year to teach our personnel various management skills from job start up to job completion. Some of our clients we have done work for over the past 24 years that in itself shows the confidence they have in M&R Drywall & Metal Stud, Inc.

Ashley Rodriguez

Project Manager

Ashley started working for the company in the fall of 2001. She came aboard to help with office management. During the next four years she worked diligently on her undergraduate degree from York College of Pennsylvania. She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in 2005. During those years she continued to assist the project manager and became very efficient with the day to day office and field routines. After graduating and looking at her competition with in the business community, Ashley decided it would be in her best interest to go back to school for her Master’s degree. In 2006 Ashley began her M.B.A. program at The University of Baltimore. After researching many programs in the area the University of Baltimore best suited her needs and wants out of an institution. While continuing her position at M&R Drywall, she began taking classes. Throughout her education she would bring her classroom knowledge into the company to help with day to day problem solving. In the fall of 2008 Ashley was offered a position within the company upon completion of her M.B.A. M&R saw her innate skills with management and organization and knew she would be an excellent project manager. Ashley has been able to bring knowledge from her education to help better the company. With continual company projected growth Ashley’s education will be an asset.

Thomas Ranazzo

V.P. Operations

Tom has been part of the Drywall Industry in the Baltimore area since 1972. Many years as a Journeyman, he has strived to improve his knowledge of the industry and the labor issues that have changed over the years.

Tom joined the M&R Drywall & Metal Stud, Inc. in 1996 as a journeyman and soon started his advancement in the company. He has held every management position available to him. In his current position he is responsible for the day to day operations of the company as well as sharing Estimating responsibilities.

Joseph R. Mehelich brings to our company over 35 years in the construction management field As a Sr.superintendent, Project Manager, V.P and now as our Sr. project manager  he brings the leadership and organizational skills that people have come to expect from our company and eye for quality that sets our company above the rest. With his masters in construction management,BS in business management and Associates in marketing joe gives a balance and insight to all our customers needs

Gordon L. Shepard ITcomes to M&R Drywall and Metal Stud with over 17 years of Commercial Estimating and Project Management experience in the Interior Finishes Industry.

Whether your facility is Healthcare, Educational, Industrial, Office Space, General Commerical, or a Design Build project; Gordon has the experience and the knowledge that Contractors, Owners and architects are looking for. Attention to detail, knowledge of construction products, construction means and methods, understanding of schedules, jobsite logistics and value engineering are the services all customers can expect Gordon to satisfy their individual needs. As Senior Estimator Gordon will be a valued asset to both the Customers, and M&R's Construction teams in the estimating and pre-construction process.
